Prof. Josephine Ahikire, the head of the college of humanities and social sciences, issued the directive to Kyomuhendo in response to reports in the local media, implicating him in alleged sexual harassment.

“As you know such acts contravene the Makerere University Human Resource Manual 2009 in general and the Makerere University Policy and Regulations on Sexual Harassment (2006) in particular,” read a communication from Ahikire.
