The Light Academy under-17 were treated to a 77-00 rugby masterclass by Namilyango College on Sunday afternoon.

Led by captain Shawn Muhangi, Namilyango were ruthless and went after their opponents from the word go.

The first half saw the young Ngonians take a 31-0 lead against their error-prone opponents who could not get a foot right in the tie.

“Our performance was good but I think that our opponents should add on their aggression because they were fit but they had that fear in them,” Muhangi said.

This definitely put the pressure on Light Academy to salvage some pride against the Ngonian under 19, which did not come to pass as they lost the second match as well.
