Soroti women tipped on development

SOROTI - Women in Soroti district have been asked to prepare in advance to speak out their challenges to the government in relation to development.

Isaac Kawoya, the resident district commissioner, said many times, women do not come out to talk about the challenges they face so that the government can act.

The call comes at a time when Uganda and the world is preparing to mark International Women's Day.

This year's national celebrations will take place in Mityana district. President Yoweri Museveni is expected to be the chief guest.
