Record winners Express football club were eliminated from the Stanbic Uganda Cup when they went down to FUFA Big League side Kitara 4-3 in penalties after one all draw over the weekend.

Alfred Leku had given the Red Eagles a lead before former Express player Derrick Tekkwo equalised for Kitara.    

Elsewhere, Soana beat Onduparaka 3-2 at Kavumba Recreation ground.

In Mukono, Kansai plascon defeated Doves All Stars 2-0 while UPDF eliminated Rushere 5-4 in penalties after 1-1 draw.

At St Mary's stadium, home side Vipers came from a goal down to beat fellow topflight side Police 3-1 in Kitende.

Milton Karisa, Erisa Ssekisambu and Dan Sserunkuma each had goal for the Venoms while Norman Ogik scored a consolation for Police
