4:00pm   Good evening!

OK, that's all for our coverage on this page.

There is a whole load of related content about the expo on all our other platforms. So, check them out.

Have yourselves a good evening. Til then!

3:15pm   Relief - cooling down

Oh my, what relief!

We have had a brief drizzle, but then, it is something. Some cool breeze has swept right across the entire Namboole Stadium to offer some sighs of relieve.

It's been super hot!

3:02pm   Very final trainings on now

So we are having the very final training sessions now.

The sessions are on bee keeping, bananas and passion fruits in Room 1, Room 2 and Room 3, respectively.

They are running from 3:00pm until 5:30pm local time.

Elizar Nsubuga and Tom Anyii is dealing with bee keeping, Dr Charles Bica and Washington Mugerwa is handling bananas and Bashir Mayiga and Charles Kiggundu is delivering on passion fruits.

2:50pm   Creating wealth

Lt. Gen. Charles Angina during the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) training: "We want you to create wealth and not helping other people create wealth and you remain poor."

2:30pm   Wrapping up

The Harvest Money Expo 2018 is drawing to a close at Namboole Stadium. The weather is also taking it easy on us.

But , honestly, it is still very hot. The people in the fluids business have definitely made a killing the last three days.

The Operation Wealth Creation tent was a huge attraction.

There have also been entertainers.

12:02pm   Temperature check

Another hot day it is.

The sun is overhead. Fluids are flowing as fast the sweat is rolling down people's foreheads here at Namboole.

11:57am   Second training sessions

The early afternoon programme are coming up next, starting 12:00pm.

They are featuring Operation Wealth Creation, poultry and goat keeping in Room 1, Room 2 and Room 3, respectively.

11:50am   Second training sessions next

The second phase of today's training will kick off in the next 10 minutes.

11:00am   Maggie Kigozi here

Former Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) executive director Dr Maggie Kigozi is at the expo.

Remember Kigozi, the mother of musicin Navio, is into agriculture.

10:46am   'Keep Etukuri in your prayers'

10:40am   Selfie moment

The Vision Group media team stationed at Namboole is in selfie mood.

Here is a view from the media centre.

Yours truly is wearing a white cap today.

10:32am   Cattle training - legumes cause bloating

In Room 2, guests are told that legumes produce a lot of gas. "If these legumes are mixed with other pasture, this gas will cause bloat complications, which may necessitate calling for a veterinary expert".

10:20am   Tree planting, cattle and Dfcu

There are three training sessions happening right now.

Albert Kunihira and Michael Malinga are handling treeplanting while Dr Jolly Kabirizzi and Dr James Muwanga are conducting the session on cattle.

10:05am   Kavuma takes expo tour

A while ago, Vision Group CEO took the keen former Deputy Chief Justice Steven Kavuma around the expo for a tour.

9.47am   Expo excites Ugandans

The farming exhibition has stirred up Ugandans, and has gotten them talking and all excited.

9.43am   On the cyber . . .

The expo has been trending on social media. It still is.

9.30am   Dutch guests marching in

I can see guests from The Netherlands walking in, trollying their luggages on the Namboole tarmac. They are headed for the biggest tent here at the expo: The Dutch Village.

8.59am    President coming?

I have heard that President Yoweri Museveni will be coming at the expo today.

That's not a confirmation, by the way.

8.47am    Key figures here at Namboole

This
year's edition has not been short of big profiles. On Saturday, foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa attended the expo.

State Minister for Primary Education Rosemary Seninde was also here, as was the deputy commander of the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) Lt. Gen. Charles Angina.

8.20am    FORMER DEPUTY CHIEF JUSTICE ARRIVES AT EXPO

Former Deputy Chief Justice Steven Kavuma is here.

The former top man in the judiciary has made his way here very early.

He also knew that the sun would be up: he is having an orange cap on.

8.20am    Breakfast

It's time for some breakfast.

I am sorted . . .

Meanwhile, guests are already streaming in, stopping by at stalls, asking questions and taking down notes.

The quest for information is evident here.

 7.55am    Today's training sessions - mid-afternoon

In the mid-afternoon programme, we will have sessions on bee keeping, bananas and passion fruits in Room 1, Room 2 and Room 3, respectively.

These sessions will begin at 3:00pm and end at 5:30pm local time.

Elizar Nsubuga and Tom Anyii will deal with bee keeping, Dr Charles Bica and Washington Mugerwa will handle bananas and Bashir Mayiga and Charles Kiggundu will deliver on passion fruits.

7.46am    Today's training sessions - early afternoon

The early afternoon programme will feature Operation Wealth Creation, poultry and goat keeping in Room 1, Room 2 and Room 3, respectively.

The early afternoon training sessions will begin at 12:00pm and end at 2:30pm local time.

Chris Magezi will handle poultry and Paul Ssembeguya and Grace Bwogi will take guests through goat keeping.

7.37am    Today's training sessions - morning

Besides the tour, we also have training sessions as part of the expo.

Today's morning programme will feature tree planting, cattle and Dfcu Bank in Room 1, Room 2 and Room 3, respectively.

The morning training sessions will begin at 9:00am and end at 11:30am local time.

Albert Kunihira and Michael Malinga will handle treeplanting while Dr Jolly Kabirizzi and Dr James Muwanga deliver the session on cattle.

7.25am    Remember Me - Lucky Dube

Looks like the sound guys are set. We are being treated to some Luck Dube hits right about now. The late South African reggae musician's Remember Me is being blasted through the towering speakers.

Memories.

7.13am     Setting up, settling down

My eyes are darting from one end to another and what they see is exhibitors setting their tables and products so that guests find them ready.

The rich aroma of tea and coffee is beginning to waft my way. The tent pitched right next to the media centre is one for food. You can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner here, as well as at various such spots all around the stadium.

My ears have caught the cries of a crow that is probably trying to reach out to its partner.

Is it mating season for the black birds?

Meanwhile, the sounds of 'check-one, check-two' are rumbling the early morning air off the huge sound systems stationed at an equi-distance around the vast stadium.

7.00am     Final day here at the expo

Good morning everyone.

The sun is breaking out of its cloudy shell and right before us promises to be yet another beautiful day.

We are live at Namboole Stadium, the venue of this year's edition of the Harvest Money Expo.

Today wraps up three days of an event well attended. We started off on Friday and right here on this page, I will be bringing to you updates from the exhibition.

I promise.
