Cranes coach Desabre eyes improvement

Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre believes he needs to put more emphasis on the offensive department of the team.

Desabre was addressing his first press conference at FUFA House in Mengo ever since the Cranes team returned from the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) that was won by the hosts Morocco.

"We played well during CHAN, but the main problem was our offensive department which needs great improvement. By the time we get to the next CHAN in Ethiopia, we will have improved because we have two years to correct our mistakes. My target is to qualify the senior team for AFCON2019, CHAN2020, help the U23 qualify for Olympics games and U20 qualify for World Cup,"he stated.

Cranes who have not gone past the group stages of CHAN in the last four editions, finished third in this year's  group stages with one point from three matches.
