Uganda's tennis players did not live up to their expectations at the just concluded Pre-Davis Cup over the weekend.

Pre Davis Cup was a two day warm up between Kenya and Ugandan tennis players. At the end of the tourney, Kenya managed to beat Uganda 4-1.

In some of the games, Oringa and Duncan Mugabe went down 6-1, 6-2 and 6-3,6-3 to Isamil Changawa and Albert Njogu respectively in the singles.

Uganda's only victory came when Borris Aguma beat Petty Andanda  7-5,6-2. A team led by Mugabe, Oringa, Aguma and Simon Ayella represented the country in the weekend event. Kenya will host the Davis Cup in June.
