Yasin Mugume joins Rayon Sports of Rwanda

Rwanda football giants Rayon Sports have completed the signing of Yasin Mugume.

The Ugandan forward has signed a three-year deal with Rayon Sports from Azam Ugandan premier league side, Police FC.

The 24-year-old international spent a year with Police after signing from KCCA.

Mugume pocketed Rwf3.5m (sh14.7m), while his former club Police received Rwf2.5m (sh10.5m) out of the Rwf6m (sh25.3m) Rayon Sports paid for the transfer to be concluded.

Rayon Sports picked interest in Mugume after he put up a stellar performance during his one week trials in Rwanda.

Mugume joins a number of players who have left Police in this transfer window. Striker Hood Kaweesa signed for Zambia's Buildcon FC, while Gift Ali is on the verge of joining league champions KCCA FC.
