WAKISO - Julius Lubega, a resident of Katabi town council in Wakiso district was murdered and his motorcycle stolen on Wednesday morning.
According to George Kandebe, the chairperson of the bodaboda riders in the area, Lubega was operating from Cabana stage at Kawuku on Entebbe Road.
Thugs are suspected to have hit Lubega on the head before taking his motorcycle boxer UEL 770S.
His body was taken to Mulago Hospital for a postmortem examination as investigations continue.
Some residents blamed the continued murders on insecurity in the area, while others blamed it on the misunderstandings between bodaboda riders at different stages. However, the area police officers declined to comment on the incident.
