The former Buikwe South MP was arrested for holding a health camp without informing the Police.
The Police have dismissed allegations that their officers assaulted former Buikwe South legislator, Dr Lulume Bayiga, and broke his spinal cord.
Over the weekend, the Police arrested Lulume for organising an illegal assembly, when he held a health camp without informing police.
Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima said the allegations are false. He said they subjected the suspect to medical examination and established that he was not injured.
