UCU Lady Cardinals walloped Wakiso Hills 7-0 to bounce back to their winning ways in the FUFA Women Elite League. The Mukono side had earlier lost 1-0 and 2-1 to Kampala Queens and Olila High School before thrashing Wakiso.

Captain Maureen Kinavodori notched four goals as UCU registered their third victory this season.

Hasifah Nassuna added a brace before Yudaya Nakayenze scored the other for the Mukono side.

Elsewhere, Sharon Achen and Norah Alupo were on target as Olila maintained their perfect start to the season. The Soroti side beat Kampala Queesns 2-1 at Villa Park to remain top of the Elizabeth Group with 18 points.

At Budo, Ajax Queens came from a goal down to beat Rines 2-1. Carol Nakyanzi and Moureen Afoyo each had a goal for Ajax Queens while Jackie Nassali scored for Rines.

Defending champions Kawempe Muslim who top the Victoria Group with 15 points, were not in action over the weekend.
