Jack Pemba causes stampede at Entebbe Airport

Tycoon Jack Pemba is the muse that never stops giving. He returned to the spotlight in a way no one expected. On arrival Wednesday at mid-day, he caused a mini stampede at the airport.

 While walking towards the parking yard, hordes of Entebbe Airport employees momentarily left their jobs to follow him to the parking yard.

All were struggling to get a piece of him so they could perhaps get a share of the dollars his duffle bag was laden with.

Amidst a hot sunshine at the Entebbe International Airport, they tussled it out for a spot besides him. Yet the casually dressed Jack Pemba maintained repose while being welcomed by fans, family, friends and media flashes.

 It was perhaps, nothing had anticipated. He was completely startled by the crowds. Which meant many things, but pertinently that the tycoon is a true darling of the Ugandan citizenry.

 Among the people that picked him up were ASFAS proprietor Brian Ahumuza alias Abryanz, socialite Williams Bugeme flanked by hot-looking girls and boys donning white T-shirts with the word 'Pemba' emblazoned on them.

Stunned by the way crowds chanted in glee as they welcomed him, the jolly Pemba went ahead to give a brief speech. After the speech he swung into paparazzi moments that attracted crowds.

 After which he went on to do what he does best, splashed 'legal tender'! On the sight of the gathering, the organizers thought it wise to whisk him away.
