Former Uganda Investment Authority chief Dr. Maggie Kigozi has encouraged parents to get a copy of the soon-to-be published Nursery Guide.

“It will be unfair for any parent, to miss the Nursery Guide, since it is always packed with worthwhile information.”

The New Vision will on Wednesday next week run a Nursery/Early Learning Guide, and Kigozi says: “Paying attention to kindergarten education sets pace for your child’s future. But how will you achieve this as a parent if you are not well-informed? This Guide is an opportunity for both teacher and parent.”

Kigozi, who is a consultant at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, says: “Fellow parents at all levels of education, should not miss the chance of this free copy of the Guide in New Vision. I have read it before and I know it is always worth it.”

The New Vision has pioneered the publication of several guides in Uganda. These include the University Guide, Schools Guide, International Schools Guide and the Vocational Guide.

The Nursery Guide publication will provide well-researched information on the importance of early learning and give chance to service providers of kindergarten education to showcase their facilities and products.

The free copy of the Guide will demonstrate the central role kindergarten education plays in setting a strong foundation for a child’s academic journey.

It will also provide information on education insurance and savings, minimum benchmarks for a good kindergarten and the issues parents should consider in choosing a learning centre for their children.

The Guide will provide an opportunity to service providers and suppliers of child-related products to advertise their offers.
