A scuffle broke out when MUBS players attacked a KU fan but Police was quick to cut it out
Police engaged in running battles with Students of Makerere University Business School (MUBS) during their game against Kampala University (KU) in the Nile Special University Football League match held at Villa Park on Wednesday afternoon.
The start of the match that ended 1-1 and having been played in driving rain for the majority of the time saw Police shielding KU students from their MUBS counterparts who were armed with sticks.

MUBS took the lead through a free kick before KU equalised from the penalty spot before half-time but failed to find another goal and subsequently, MUBS qualified for the next round.
In the second half a scuffle broke out when MUBS players attacked a KU fan but Police was quick to cut it out.
MUBS official Hilary Kimbugwe also joined Police's efforts to calm the agitated students.
