You won't lose jobs in agencies review - minister re-assures civil servants

Public service minister Muruli Mukasa has assured public servants that they will not be laid off in the process of streamlining roles of ministries and agencies.

In August this year, the President ordered for a review of the agencies to avoid duplication of services and to minimise wastage of resources.

Muruli said the report on the exercise is expected next month, but government employees will not lose their jobs because their skills are still needed.
