Exams: NUDIPU wants more time for disabled candidates

They said some disabled children need special attention during examinations and need more time to concentrate, so they can perform better.

The National Union of Disabled Persons Uganda (NUDIPU) wants national exams body, UNEB, to allocate extra time for candidates with disability as they write their final exams.


Next week, Senior Four students start writing their Uganda Certificate of Education exams, followed by Primary Seven in early November and Senior Six candidates.

The programmes officer at NUDIPU, Ronald Luyima, said some disabled children need special attention during examinations and need more time to concentrate, so they can perform better.
