In case it is blocked how do I handle the situation?

To melt fat that may be building up in the drain, pour hot water down the drain weekly. It is even possible to mix 250ml baking soda and 250 ml salt. Pour 60ml of this mixture into the drain.

Follow this by pouring in hot water. In addition, sprinkle baking soda on and around drains to stem off odours.

How do I deal with the clogged drains?

Pour in 60 ml baking soda followed by 125 ml white vinegar. Close the drainage until the fizzing stops and flush with hot water. This will break down the fat and keep your drainage clean.
