Ndejje University has dominated sports in Uganda at both higher institutions and national level in various disciplines for the past decade, now maybe it time for Makerere University to reclaim its past glory when the two face-off in the national handball league on Saturday.

The two face off at Mandela National Stadium and team manager Hannington Musoke is optimistic his side will emerge victors.

"I know it is going to be a tight game and much competitive because of the pride the two universities hold but I know we shall emerge winners," Musoke stated.

"Ndejje is a strong side, but we have young energetic blood, aggressive and determined to upset a stronger side and that is what motivates us," he added.

Ndejje who defeated UPDF 36-23 last weekend will be out to continue with their winning form so as to maintain their hopes of winning the league this season.

However, before the Ndejje and Makerere faceoff, fans will be treated to Evergreen taking on league comers Mukono Lions at the same venue.
