Bayport donates to Kiryandongo Hospital

Kiryandongo Hospital has received a donation of items worth sh17m from Bayport Financial Services, as part of the company's corporate social responsibility.

Maureen Kasaija, Bayport's brand marketing manager said they decided to offer support to the hospital after realising that it receives many patients from the neighbouring refugee camp.

"The hospital administrators are struggling to manage the overwhelming number of patients seeking for help every day," she said.

The items donated included 60 mattresses and cleaning equipment.

Dr Godfrey Kisembo, the medical superintendent said the support came at the right time because the hospital is struggling with a huge numbers of patients.

Kisembo added that they have been exchanging communication with the official after received a letter from them indicating the assistance that they wanted to give to the hospital.
