Makerere University Holding Company Limited (Mak Holdings) was established by Makerere University Council to manage commercial assets and interests of the University. The Board of Directors invites applications from qualified persons to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer will provide visionary leadership, transform organizational strategy into programs, build strong beneficial synergy with Makerere University (Council, Management, Staff and Students) and strategically nurture and build collaborative relationships and partnerships with private and public stakeholders for mutual benefit of the parties.

With a track record of leadership excellence, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter, visionary planner capable of taking initiative to cover a range of tasks and able to thrive in a startup entrepreneurial environment with various stakeholders.
