Maro impresses in Jinja

Musician Ronald Maro over the weekend returned home to a receptive audience at the Dam Waters in Jinja district for his Nziranago concert.

Maro's first ever big show in his homeland in Busoga started a little bit late because of the so many curtain raisers that had to perform.

Revelers were tired. Some even thought he would not show up, but after 2:00am, Maro hit the stage, alongside his dancers.

He did amazingly well, making the long wait worth it. He performed several songs starting with his old hits like Genda Ewamwe, Baibe and Raising Star, but later switched to his latest releases like Mubbi Bubbi and Nziranago.

"I am grateful for the support and love you guys showed us, Nziranago is a series of experiences from an album and it is a project I am proud to have accomplished. Many people see me on stage holding the microphone, but it is thousands that hold me up. I will always respect that," he said during an interview.
