Police alert: Suspected killers seen in Entebbe

23 women have been murdered in almost a similar manner in Nansana and Entebbe. Police have arrested some suspects.

Police have today issued an alert on two dangerous men on the loose.

They said the men were seen travelling in a black, numberless Ipsum car, with a kidnapped woman who had been blindfolded, inside.

"We have received credible information that two men - one dressed in a black attire  and another putting on a red shirt and black jacket - are travelling in a numberless black ipsum vehicle.

"They attempted to kidnap a young lady at around Abayita Ababiri in Katabi town council. The vehicle had another lady who whose face was tied with a piece of cloth. She was wearing a short, black skirt," Police spokesperson, Asan Kasingye, said in a statement.

He urged the members of the public to be on the lookout, especially with the increased kidnap and killings going on in Nansana and Katabi Town Council.

Kasingye insisted that the Police had started a man hunt for the vehicle and its occupants and called upon members of the public to provide information fitting the description of this vehicle and its occupants on police telephone numbers 0714667710, 0714667759, 0714664806, 0714667808, 0715989979, 071777070 or use the police toll free lines 0800122291, 0800199099, 0800300100.

To date, 23 women have been murdered in almost a similar manner in Nansana and Entebbe. Even though Police has arrested some suspects it says are connected with the killings, they still continue.
