Their win against Capital Night has rejuvenated their title ambitions

CKI Captain Robert Lubega believes his boys are more determined than ever to win the Senior Pool League.

Having dispatched stubborn table leaders Capital Night by 12-8 in a hard fought match at Capital Pub in Bukoto, CKI have set their sights on Hot Pool who have now taken over pole position.

Due to the fact that Capital Night lost and Hot Pool won their match against Sinkers, the latter now lead the table by two points from Ronz Pool Club.

"This win has changed our odds, we used the mid-season break to work on a few things and now we feel more prepared to handle the pressure," said CKI Captain Robert Lubega following victory.

Their win against Capital Night has rejuvenated their title ambitions and they now sit within touching distance of the top four.

Lubega believes his side have an opportunity to win the league as long as the keep up the winning run by taking victory in their next two fixtures.

"We have Hot Pool up next and Ronz will follow closely if we can win these next two matches then we shall become unstoppable."

CKI face league leader's Hot Pool in a high stakes match that will see the winner take all and the loser hit a dead end.

"The difference this time round is that the boys are very determined ever since they won the clubs knockout in Masaka the boys are determined to prove they can," the captain added.
