Bugema keen to avoid another drubbing at the hands of Gulu

When Bugema University hosted Gulu last April, it was their fans who had to stomach a 3-0 loss and history is likely to repeat itself today when they play Gulu University in Gulu.

The Adventist team that has spent over a week in Gulu after travelling last Friday will need to work harder and avoid a humiliating result.

Bugema is currently at the bottom of Group D with a single point after they managed a draw against YMCA.

They are considered the whipping boys of the group having conceded eight goals, the most in the three matches of first round.

Managing even a draw in Gulu will be a tremendous result for them to allow them get back in contention for a place in the playoffs.

Gulu goes into today's encounter with a 3-0 win over Bugema, a loss to champions KU 4-0 and a 1-1 draw with YMCA so far in the first round.
