In a rather tough tone, Museveni, featuring on Vision Group’s TV West, emphasised the role of the State in ensuring that its programmes are executed.

President Yoweri Museveni has warned that Government will not tolerate the stalling of its projects because "some individuals who own the land" are unwilling to sell.

In a rather tough tone, Museveni, featuring on Vision Group's TV West based in Mbarara, emphasised the role of the State in ensuring that its programmes are executed swiftly without bottlenecks.

He said there was purpose to change the constitutional provisions on land because it was inhibitive in its current form. On arrival at the station, the President was received by Vision Group's chief executive officer, Robert Kabushenga, who was with other TV West and Orumuri newspaper managers and editors.

Museveni was accompanied by Information and ICT Minister Frank Tumwebaze and Deputy Attorney General Mwesigwa Rukutana, among others.

The President is on a countrywide campaign to sensitise the population on matters of national importance, particularly on the Constitutional Amendment Bill.
