ASP Francis Kidega is replacing SSP Abu Kalule

Police Football Club is one of the teams that have intensified preparations for the 2017/18 Uganda Premier League season that kicks off on September 12.

Apart from unveiling new players, the club has also appointed ASP Francis Kidega as the new chief executive officer replacing SSP Abu Kalule.

Despite Kalule's departure from the post he will remain in Police's sports department.

"I wish you the best and I will be behind you to see that our team performs better," said Kalule.

Police who survived relegation last season after finishing fourth from bottom recently unveiled new players; Albert Mugisa (Ndejje), Juma Balinya (Lweza), Simon Tamale (Lungujja Galaxy), Aggrey Madoi (Vipers), Sam Kayongo (Kiira United), Norman Ojik (Sadolin Paints), Saafi Basan (Sadolin Paints), Shakur Makeera (Nkumba University), Aggrey Madoi (Vipers - loan), Martin Mpuuga, Yasin Mugume and Paul Willa (KCCA).
