Skin Samona defeated CKI by 11-09 at Lumax pool arena to climb to the top of the senior pool league table with a game in hand over rival's Ronz.

The match was very tight between both teams through the first half and the latter part of the second half. Both captains chose relatively strong sides and the neck and neck affair was a close reflection of what the captains wanted out of the match.

With the match tipped at 8-8, Samona Captain Fahad Ssewankambo took it upon himself to bring on Amos Ndyagumanawe to try and break the tie in order to take the lead.

CKI counter punched with Harzad Lukomwa and the crowd ruptured, two of the nations most talented players were going at it.

Ndyagumanawe won the chance to break, he didn't pot any balls and lukomwa didn't look back after that.

The fiery young talent gave each ball the right amount of treatment and the long awaited match up ended before the fans had even blinked.

That for CKI was where the fun and jubilation ended; Samona went a little more professional and won the next three games to finish off the tight affair.

CKI amidst all the talented players have to go back to the drawing board and rethink their next step after registering their fourth loss of the season in 11 games and falling eight points behind Samona.
