Ex- KCCA striker Sserunkuma attributes success to hard work

Former KCCA striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma attributed all of the success he experiences today to hard work and determination.

The 34-year-old striker was on Wednesday voted Uganda Premier League's Most Valuable Player. He also took home the top scorer and fans' players' awards and a Subaru Forester.
"I want to thank God, coaches and players for the support they have given me.I wouldn't be here, If it wasn't for my hardwork and determination," Sserunkuma said after receiving his awards.
Sserunkuma's former coach Mike Mutebi was voted best coach and the best goalkeeping coach award went to Stephen Kiggundu.
Ismail Watenga, Saddam Juma and Halid Lwaliwa won best goalkeeper, midfielder and defender accolades respectively.
Former KCCA official David Tamale was best CEO while the late SC Villa president Patrick Kawooya was given the Life Time Achievers Award.
Onduparaka fans took home the best fans award while Bukedde TV received special recognition for promoting the league.
KCCA's prodigy Allan Okello won the young player of the year award.
