Makerere private admission list out

Makerere University has released the Official admission lists for privately sponsored students for the Academic Year 2017/2018.

In a phone interview with New Vision, Ddumba Sentamu, the outgoing Vice Chancellor of the university said that the admission letters will be released on Friday, July 28th.

"We expect the ‘freshers' to report on 14th August for their first year," he said. On his twitter account, Professor Barnabas Nawangwe, Ddumba's successor, congratulated all successful applicants upon making it to Makerere.

First year privately sponsored students are expected to pay 60% of the tuition and all functional fees using provisional admission letters before picking their original copies.
