PM question time pushed to Thursday

Jul 20, 2017

This is after reform of Section 34.

IN BRIEF

KAMPALA - Parliament has amended section 34 of the Rules of Procedure, pushing the Prime Minister's question time to Thursday.

The Prime Minister's time has been taking place every Wednesday.

The proposal was moved by government chief whip Ruth Nankabirwa.

This was on the justification that since the head of state chose Wednesday to be cabinet day, the Prime Minister and the ministers may not appear to address the legislators' concerns.
