South Sudan v Uganda.

Cranes local team captain Geoffrey Sserunkuma believes his side is in good shape ahead of their 2018 Total Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers with South Sudan this Friday in Juba.

Sserunkuma made the remarks after the team's training session today at Namboole.

"The players have responded well in training. As players we don't know anything about our opponents but am sure they know about us very well. But we should not take the game lightly since we are away. If we are prepared well we can get a result, "stated Sserunkuma.

The KCCA striker who is the most experienced player in the team also added, "Our striking force has good players who can deliver on time if given an opportunity."

The winner between South Sudan and Uganda will face the winner between Rwanda/Tanzania in the next round.

After the South Sudan two legged encounters, cranes will face Egypt in August at home in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Kampala.
