KAMPALA - The construction and renovation of Mulago Referral Hospital will be completed by December this year.
The cost of the works is sh101.5bn.
The renovation, which was slated to be completed in November last year, was delayed by the transfer of patients from the old building to other temporary facilities and nearby hospitals.
Joel Aita, the chief executive of Joadah Consultancy, is supervising the renovation works by Roko Construction Company.
He said the facility will accommodate 1,000 in-patients and 20,000 out-patients, on top of offering super specialised services like organ transplants.
