Parliament shortlists over 3,000 for 27 jobs

“The parliamentary commission herein publishes the interview shortlist for the following externally advertised vacancies existing in the service,” reads the shortlist title on the parliament website.

The parliamentary commission is set to interview over 3,000 candidates who applied for 27 vacancies in 14 positions of parliamentary service, mid last year.

The vacancies to be filled include, clerk assistant, information and public education officer, procurement officer, accountant, librarian, technician, engineering officer-mechanical, engineering officer-automotive, administrative assistant, research officer-statistics, research officer-publication, publications officer, assistant editor of hansard and protocol officer.     

According to the communication, the names of the candidates listed will be the only ones to receive text messages giving details of when and where the interviews will be conducted.
