Catholics have this morning thronged Munyonyo martyrs' shrine to participate in this year's walk of faith ahead of the 3rd June martyrs' day.

The pilgrims who included school going children, religious leaders, men and women moved from Munyonyo martyrs' shrine where the first three martyrs were killed to old Kampala where Matia Mulumba was killed.

The first deputy Prime Minister Moses Ali while flagging off the pilgrims thanked religious institutions for promoting unity.

Moses says that their sermons on peace have greatly contributed to the peace the country is enjoying.

The Catholic Church together with the ministry of tourism are organising the walk as one way of boasting the tourist attractions in the country.
