People who bought Sim-cards on streets risk being arrested.

IN BRIEF

KAMPALA - The Uganda Communications Commission has warned Ugandans who bought Sim-cards from street vendors to re-register them or else risk getting arrested.

Pamella Ankunda, the UCC spokesperson, said such Sim-cards were registered by different people with wrong motives and then sold to innocent Ugandans who believe they are now safe to continue using them.

She urged them to ensure follow-ups and re-registration of the Sim-cards, or buy new ones that they can own with confidence.
