Nkoma SS to host 2018 UMEA Games

Nkoma Secondary School from Mbale district will be the osts of the 2018 Uganda Muslim Education Association (UMEA) games.

"These games are a tool of unity and togetherness. We want to ensure that they rotated to different parts of the country,"Kitezaala stated.

Only Muslim founded Secondary Schools under their umbrella association UMEA take part in these Solidarity Games.

Over 30 schools took part in this year's edition hosted at Welden and Nyamitanga Secondary Schools in Mbarara and tussled it out in football (boys and girls, netball (girls), handball (boys and girls) plus Volleyball (boys and girls).

Badminton and table tennis were the new disciplines that were been introduced in this year's games won by Kibuli Secondary school as the overall champions.

They won the netball, handball (boys and girls)and badminton (boys) titles. Kasawo SS took the boy's football title while Kawempe Muslim walked away with girls' trophy.​​
