A renowned Café in Entebbe town has temporally closed business after a ceiling board collapsed on Wednesday night. No injuries were reported, according to the Entebbe Municipality Police.

Yesterday, on their Twitter handle @CafeJavasUG, Management of the food-joint regretted the unfortunate incident at Victoria Mall Entebbe branch on April 4, this year, when part of the ceiling board collapsed.

"We take the safety of customers and staff very seriously and hence we shall close the Entebbe branch and ensure that the repairs are made. We regret the inconvenience this will cause," the statement read in part.

The Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima said the ceiling board fell off last night at Café Javas after Victoria mall had been closed. "No persons or property were injured. All is well at the facility," Kayima noted in a press statement sent to media houses yesterday.
