Investigations are ongoing Police hopes to arrest the culprits

Police in Masindi is investigating a break in at the offices of the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) and his deputy on Sunday night.

Godfrey Nyakahuma, the RDC, and his deputy Bahebwa Longino, reported to office on Monday morning, only to find their office windows broken pieces and offices in a messy condition.

According to Nyakahuma, the thieves made away with two computers, flash disks and threw down everything that was in the office cupboard.

"By the look of things in office, it is as though they were looking for a specific file because they threw down everything that was in the side board and disorganized them," Nyakahuma said.

Bosco Bakashaba, the District Police Commander, said investigations are ongoing and they hope to arrest the culprits.

"We are handling this matter with urgency and we are hopeful we shall get the people who carried out the act," Bakashaba said.
