Sekisambu, Nkuubi passed fit for CAF return leg

Striker Erisa Sekisambu and midfielder Brian Nkuubi have been passed fit ahead of Vipers' return leg this Saturday against Platinum Stars in South Africa.

The duo picked injuries in the first leg which Vipers won 1-0 at their newly established St Mary's Stadium in Kitende over the weekend.

"Nkuubi sustained a muscle injury just like Sekisambu and needed only to rest. They are however in frame to play after showing positive signs in training" stated Vipers team doctor Mike Lule.

Defender Aggrey Madoi also returned to training to provide options at left back where Dan Birikwalira played on Saturday. Madoi had been given compassionate leave after the death of his father.

Vipers depart for South Africa on Thursday morning.
