CAF has cleared Vipers to use their newly constructed St Mary's Stadium in Kitende for continental games.

The permission comes after CAF inspector Nicholas Musonye who was in the country on Tuesday to make a final report on the ongoing development.

In a communication sent to FUFA by the CAF Club Licensing Manager in the Competitions Department, Ahmed Harraz, Vipers were given the green light to use the stadium for the CAF Confederation Cup encounter against Platinum Stars.

Vipers will host the first leg on March 11 before making the trip to South Africa for the return leg on March 18.

This is the second consecutive year Vipers are taking part in CAF engagements after last year's campaign bid which ended in defeat by Nigerian giants Enyimba in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
