Prince Wasajja urges parents on culture

"Let us not get tired of this, we need our children to get to know much about their culture," Wasajja urged the guests

Prince David Kintu Wasajja has appealed to parents in Buganda to heed to the call by brother, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II and educate children about the cultures and norms of their kingdom.

He was addressing guests who turned up on Saturday for a mass in honor of the late Kampala prominent businessman Godfrey  Mabiriizi who passed away three years ago.

"Let us not get tired of this, we need our children to get to know much about their culture," Wasajja urged the guests

The task of educating the children about their culture shouldn't be left to the teachers because some of them come from various areas with no idea about the cultures in Buganda,"Wasajja told guests at the Mabirizi family home in Naguru city suburbs

Speaking at the same function, the vicar general of Mitalamaria Fr. Denish Kizito also called upon parents to bring up God fearing children for a better society.

"Let us have a God fearing children into our homes, and then we shall have a better society," Fr. Kizito said.

Fr. Kizito also praised Mrs. Winnie Mabiriizi whom he kept on referring to as a God fearing woman for organizing a mass prayer every year to remember her husband.
