SC Villa failed to close the gap on leaders KCCA FC in the Azam Uganda Premier League as they settled to 1-1 draw with JMC at Kakindu stadium.

A win could have  taken  Villa to joint top of the table with KCCA at 35 points but they remained second at 33 points.

This was SC Villa third  competitive  game  without a win. Last Tuesday they  draw 0-0 with Bright Stars at Champion stadium in Matugga. Before that, they had been eliminated from Uganda Cup by  Kiboga Young.

"The point is not bad since JMC is  fighting relegation . We came for victory unfortunately we failed to secure it,”stated Villa coach shafiq Bisaso.

Villa’s  new signing Emmanuel Okwi scored for his new club before Hassan Musana leveled for JMC.
