Kenyan coach takes on Uganda rugby 7s team

Uganda and 11 other teams will battle it out in the HongKong 7s with the winner qualifying for the 2017/2018 Rugby World 7s series.

Former Kenya rugby national 7s team strength and conditioning coach Geoffrey Kimani has started working with the Uganda rugby 7s team preparing for the HongKong 7s on April 7-9 in HongKong.
 
"Im happy to be working here because Uganda is a country with no difference from home and my target is to take Uganda to the World Series," Kimani told New Vision online.

Uganda and 11 other teams will battle it out in the HongKong 7s with the winner qualifying for the 2017/2018 Rugby World 7s series.

They include; Spain, Germany (Europe), Namibia, Papua New Guinea, Tonga (Oceania), Guyana, Jamaica (North America), Chile and Uruguay (South America), HongKong and Sri Lanka (Asia).
 
Rugby Cranes 7s team head Tolbert Onyango lauded  Kimani saying that he has all the qualities needed to guide the team ahead of Rugby 7s world series qualifier in HongKong.
