Hadija Namanda elected volleyball president

She defeated former UVF treasurer Joseph Odong (40 votes) and former UVF technical director Eddie Okila (21 votes).

Hadija Namanda is the new and first ever female president of the Uganda Volleyball Federation in its 34-year history.

The multi-discipline sports administrator, volleyball player and current international referee, collected 57 votes to win the presidency.

She defeated former UVF treasurer Joseph Odong (40 votes) and former UVF technical director Eddie Okila (21 votes).
