Patrick Kagoro returned 68 nett to win the last event of 2016 at Kitante on Saturday.

Kagoro was two strokes better than Ibra Bagalana who eventually settled for the Group A top accolade with 70nett. John Waigo with 73nett was runner up.

Bill Smith was the best in Group B having beaten Paul Nuwagaba on countback after the two brought 71 nett, just like in Group C where John Kisekulo tied with Akura Mugyenyi with the same score.

In the ladies category Gloria Mbaguta capped a great year by also finishing top with 70nett, beating Rose Azuba by four strokes.

Victoria Ngabire and Regina Ddamulira were the top performers in the ladies Group B ahead of the several new season tournaments lined up.
