KU's tactician Tumusiime to join Soana FC

Coach “Titi” as he is commonly known, recently won the 2016 University football league title.

Uganda premier league side Soana is on the verge of signing Kampala University tactician Vicent Tumusiime as head coach to replace Sam Ssimbwa who left for Kenyan top tier league side Sofapaka.

Coach "Titi" as he is commonly known, recently won the 2016 University football league and the Eastern Africa University football trophy with Kampala University in Nairobi, Kenya last week.

"It is true I have received offers from various corners, I am yet to decide which one to take, though I can say am ready for any task" explained Tumusiime.

The chairman Soana Football Club Obed Smart hasn't ruled out the possibility of signing the University Coach, though he stated that his budget is not that big for the next coach.

"Tumusiime is a good coach; I have followed him for about a year my only worry is the price tag he comes with, because my budget for the second round will be limited," said Obed.

Soana FC is sixth in the league with 23 points, nine points behind table leaders Kampala capital City Authority football club on 32 points.
