Namirembe Cathedral Choir melodious Christmas carols

The music was interspersed with messianic readings from the Bible, which complemented the Christmas message of the songs.

Namirembe Cathedral Choir staged its traditional Christmas concert, Carols on Christmas Eve.

The concert started with a session of organ music. The evening concert attracted a big audience.

The choir sang Christmas songs by composers like Williams Mathias, John Rutter, J.S. Bach, David Willcocks and Samuel Kimuli.

They also sang Luganda songs like Mu kibuga kya Daudi and Leero Bamalayika bayimbira Kabaka, which attracted the participation of the audience.

The music was interspersed with messianic readings from the Bible, which complemented the Christmas message of the songs.

The choir's fans were given an audio CD of the songs that the choir sang during the show.
