Cash, booze at rich gang party

December is a crazy month with many lavish end-of-year parties with different theme nights where socialites compete to show off their financial muscle.

One event that has stood out is the Rich gang party by South Africa-based Ugandans Ivan Ssemwanga, Eddie Kyeyune (Ed Cheune) among others but this time round, it failed to live up to its expectations.

The group held the party at Club Guvnor on Wednesday night with a massive attendance that had revellers enjoy, dance and drunk to an open bar.

By midnight, the group had arrived at the club with a convoy of expensive cars before they were led into the club by their body guards.

Splashing of money like they are known for was expected but it happened once with sh20,000 notes.

The club management was quick to halt throwing of money to prevent injuries and damaging of property. This however, did not augur well with the revellers who continued asking the gang to splash bigger money notes but in vain.

Musicians Sheeba Karungi, Radio and Weasel among others entertained the revellers. The party went on up 5am.
