Zzinda's talent expo concert exposes young talents

The Talent Expo concert, which took place at Kampala Serena Hotel on Sunday, was a show of young talents.

The afternoon family event featured music students, who sang and played classical music on instruments like the violin, piano and guitar.

The musical students were from schools like Greenhill Academy, Kampala Parents School, Gayaaza High School, Acacia International School.

It was a wonderful experience for parents to see their children perform music for them. Some of the parents shed tears of joy as the children crooned songs by international artists like Mariah Carey.

Violinist Emmanuel Zzinda, the organizer of the event, said that the concert was aimed at inspiring young musicians and also, to encourage them to develop their respective musical talents.

The event was also graced by the minister for health, the Hon. Dr. Ruth Aceng, who commended the parents for helping their children to discover and develop the music talent in them. Aceng later gave out certificates to all the performers.

The concert climaxed with a musical presentation by Zzinda, who performed alongside a live-jazz band.
