Robinsan shows musical maturity in Ntukula

Ntukula is a clear indicator of how both lyrically and vocally Robinsan has matured. It is not by accident that it is doing rounds on several gospel music countdowns

Greatly adored for his bravado when he first hit the gospel music scene in 2012 with his first single, Newunyanyo, Robinsan (Robert Tumuhairwe) now returns with a much more captivating single that is fast endearing him to even those that know less about Christ.

With a typical dancehall tune, Robinsan's new single, Ntukula literary translated as ‘I am clean' is a song that instantly gets any music lover into a dancing mood. The concept behind it is hardly wrong-headed and gets off to a promising start.

Released in November this year, Ntukula carries a message that signifies the cleanliness and freshness that comes with being bathed in the blood of Jesus.

The song was recorded at Badman Records in the city suburb of Kawempe by highly skilled producers Vad Namanda and Lego (Denis Tomusange). It is a sweet fusion of lyrics in English, Patois and the local dialect, Luganda which broadens the song's appeal to people of different musical tastes.

The verses and chorus alike are perfectly crafted and expertly punctuated that one only feels better and energized as the song plays on; unlike many songs that make a listener have sort of a bumpy audio experience.

Ntukula is a clear indicator of how both lyrically and vocally Robinsan has matured. It is not by accident that it is doing rounds on several gospel music countdowns and only better can be expected as it continues to drop into people's ears fresh and clean.
